About
Thanks for taking the time to visit our Coast to Coast blog.
We’re here in the North, and now we’ve done it. We finished our 190-mile walk from St Bees in Cumbria to Robin Hood’s Bay on the North Sea Coast yesterday on May 21st. This classic Wainwright walk hits some of the most beautiful scenery in the country, crossing three different National Parks and a lot of hills. This has been an ambition of ours to walk for ages. We completed the walk in just 11-days, not bad for chaps of our age. Its all part of kicking off Richard’s 50th birthday celebrations this year you see. Anyway, you can see how we did it by reading through the daily blog updates here and lots of pictures and comments on Facebook. We’d like our efforts here to inspire you to join us in raising some money for Cancer Research and 1st Uxbridge Scout Group and cheering us along the way…. A really big thank you to everyone who has donated already the total is really fantastic…..
